Meg Miner is a purpose-driven strategist and creative dedicated to advancing justice, leveraging the power of innovative storytelling to inspire progressive action. As Senior Communications and Marketing Manager at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP), she is instrumental in driving awareness of INP’s nationally recognized leadership development programming to achieve ambitious goals across fundraising, recruitment, and more. Her signature approach utilizes dynamic content creation and analysis, grounded in authenticity, community building, and sustained growth.

Meg’s five-year tenure at INP is marked by pivotal contributions to the organization’s expansion and efficacy. A trusted thought partner, she adeptly manages complex cross-functional projects, including INP’s Annual Report. Spearheading INP’s brand, Meg ensures visual integrity and maintains a nuanced language framework rooted in ethical standards for inclusivity. With over 15 years in the nonprofit sector, she is a proven leader in streamlining systems and data-driven processes to scale impact toward a brighter future.

Prior to INP, Meg amplified the voices of young organizers at Our Turn, propelling educational opportunity and civic engagement nationally. As a founding member of Our Turn’s Equity Collaborative, she helped strengthen cross-departmental synergy and championed equity best practices. A 2012 AmeriCorps alum and 2018 Residency in Social Enterprise Fellow with New Sector Alliance, Meg remains committed to leadership development rooted in bolstering positive change, workforce well-being, and social sector effectiveness.

Her drive for continuous learning was fueled by early professional experiences at Public Achievement and the Media Education Foundation. Throughout her career, Meg has gained invaluable insights from award-winning and renowned mentors in the capacity building, documentary filmmaking, grassroots organizing, DEIB, and marketing fields. She holds an MA in Media and Public Engagement with a graduate certificate in Interdisciplinary Documentary Media Practices from the University of Colorado Boulder, complementing her BA in Sociology and Communication Studies from the University of Denver.
