Hanh Tran

Vice President, Alumni Engagement

Hanh brings more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with expertise in partnership development, community engagement, and program expansion. Her passion for building community and fostering equitable change led her to INP, where she supports the development and execution of alumni engagement.  

Before joining INP, Hanh was the Managing Director of Partnerships at iMentor. During her tenure, Hanh led iMentor’s partnership team to expand the reach of iMentor’s college-success program, partnering with 20 nonprofit organizations to reach more than 3,500 students nationwide. Hanh has also worked at New York Cares and the Morgan Stanley Foundation where she led community engagement and volunteer recruitment initiatives. She currently serves on the board of the Karen Organization of San Diego (KOSD), a nonprofit that supports refugees from Burma who have resettled in San Diego. 

Hanh holds an MPA from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Hanh spent many years in New York City prior to relocating to San Diego, where she currently lives with her husband and two children.
