Manager of Strategic Initiatives

Courtney comes to INP with a background in nonprofit management, development, and higher education. After beginning her career managing study abroad programs at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, she went on to help found the Foundation for Learning and Youth Travel Education (FLYTE). She was also the Director of Advancement for the Madison Community Montessori School, and helped manage strategic initiatives at iMentor, a youth mentoring organization serving students across the US.

Courtney hails from the land of cheese and cornfields in Madison, Wisconsin, and enjoys serving in her community by sitting on the local neighborhood board. She is involved with the Leadership Greater Madison initiative, and enjoys spending time with her family exploring all the nature and good food that Madison has to offer. You’ll often find her with her nose in a book, building Legos with her 5-year-old, jogging, or cuddling with her rescue kitten.

Courtney received her bachelor’s degree in International Studies, with a double minor in Peace Studies and Spanish, from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Urban Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies.
