Alec Labine

Lead Systems Administrator

Alec Jordan Labine joined INP in 2020. He brings a diverse set of skills to the organization with experience in the education, healthcare, and cybersecurity industries as a technical engineer. His prior experience includes time at Roger Williams University, Neighborhood Health plan of Rhode Island, as well as VMware (formerly Carbon Black).

Prior to entering the field of information technology six years ago, he was an established Sous Chef at the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island, where he was born and raised. Alec is an alumnus of the Year Up Information Technology Skills training program, whose goal is to provide young adults with the professional and technical skills hiring companies need, and ensure they can launch successful professional careers while providing American businesses with an untapped source of bright, motivated young talent.

Alec benefited greatly from Year Up’s mission, program, and mentor relationships and is especially excited to join another mission-based organization and movement that’s giving back to the community and the world.

As a self-described “hobby hoarder,” he dabbles in videography, podcasting, horror films, comics, mechanical keyboards, model building, and most importantly enjoys spending time with his pup, Knotch. Alec loves to be challenged and take on new endeavors.

Alec attends Roger Williams University, pursuing degrees in Digital Forensics and Networking.
