President, Align Performance, LLC

Officially, Orlando Bishop is the President of Align Performance LLC, but he describes himself more simply, “I’m a coach. That’s what I do.” Using his Align Approach, he has spent over a decade “Walking The Line” next to entrepreneurs, executives, educators, and more as they have defined and executed strategies that “align who you are, where you are, and where you want to go.”

An experienced DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) consultant, Orlando works with teams and organizations to create equitable cultures that foster inclusion and drive superior outcomes. Whether working with an individual, team or organization, the promise of The Align approach remains the same: We help you… do you… better.

Orlando’s coaching doesn’t stop there, though. Youth sports are a passion of his and he employs the Align principles with student-athletes, from elementary school to high school. In fact, AlignAthletics will soon launch, across all programs, in a Los Angeles high school and he could not be any more excited about the opportunity to share lessons he knows can go beyond increasing win totals to improving lives.

Orlando had no idea where his journey out of Flatbush, Brooklyn… through Yale… then USC Film School… would lead. In retrospect, though, the same things that drove him as he taught in an English classroom, drove him as he coached teams to championships and, more importantly to realized potential. The same passion that drives him to build WeAlign, an online platform “for people committed to being their best selves… living their best lives,” is the passion that helped him coach a client through the loss of 168 pounds.

“I help people realize the best version of themselves, the version so great, they barely dare to dream it.” In other words: Orlando is a coach. That’s what he does.
