Cat Ang is an experienced nonprofit leader with over 16 years of expertise in education, workforce development, and youth development. As Chief Enrollment and Student Services Officer at Year Up United, she oversees enrollment strategy, student services, and functional training across more than 20 locations nationwide. Cat leads three core functions that ensure a cohesive and equitable student experience from initial inquiry through graduation, including student recruitment, admissions, onboarding, wraparound support, and resource navigation.

During her 12+ year tenure at Year Up United, Cat has held progressively senior roles, most recently serving as National Director of Enrollment from 2021 to 2025, where she led national recruitment strategy and managed enrollment operations across multiple markets. Under her leadership, the organization experienced significant growth, with initiatives that expanded reach and impact by over 300%. Her work has helped thousands of young adults access skills training, career pathways, and support services in high-demand fields.

Cat’s commitment to educational equity began early in her career at iMentor, a leading New York City mentoring organization, where she honed her expertise in youth development and community engagement. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Public Administration from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
