The Art of Leading for Good: An Evening with Robert Lewis, Jr.
At the Institute, we believe that the access and exposure to the arts is essential to uplifting, inspiring, and renewing nonprofit leaders, and wherever possible, we integrate the arts into our work. Through our annual Art of Leading for Good event, hosted by Sue and Bernard Pucker, owners of the Pucker Gallery, INP students, alumni, and faculty had the opportunity to hear from inspiring leaders, experience a moving musical performance, and connect with fellow students and alumni, all while soaking in the beautiful art work at the Pucker Gallery.
The event featured keynote speaker Robert Lewis, Jr., who spoke about his decades of experiences leading for social change, and an opening performance from leading Tabla virtuoso Sandeep Das.
The Institute also honored six Changemakers, public sector and nonprofit leaders who embody service and dedication to uplifting our communities. Changemaker Honorees include: Carolyn Casey, Founder & Executive Director, Project 351, Corey DePina, Youth Development and Performance Manager, ZUMIX, David Howse, INP Faculty Member, Senior Associate Vice President of Emerson College, Executive Director of ArtsEmerson, Liz Miranda, Massachusetts State Representative, Charlie Rose, Senior Vice President & Dean, City Year, and Michelle Wu, Boston City Council Member.
